Welcome to JJ Sport. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website, online store, products, and services.

Throughout these Terms, “JJ Sport,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to JJ Sport. By accessing our website, placing an order, purchasing a product, or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service and any policies referenced on our website.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. General Terms

You must be at least the age of majority in your province or territory of residence to make purchases through our website, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

You agree not to use our website, products, or services for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purpose.

You are responsible for ensuring that any information you provide to us, including your name, contact information, billing information, and delivery information, is accurate and complete.

2. Products and Availability

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images, prices, and availability are accurate.

However, product colours and appearance may vary depending on your device, monitor, lighting, or manufacturer production differences.

Products, colours, sizes, specifications, and availability may change without notice.

We reserve the right to:

  • limit quantities available for purchase;
  • discontinue products;
  • correct product information;
  • correct pricing errors; and
  • cancel or refuse an order where reasonably necessary.

If we cancel an order that has already been paid, we will refund the amount charged for the cancelled portion of the order.

3. Prices, Taxes and Payment

All prices are shown in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.

Applicable taxes will be added at checkout or at the point of sale as required by law.

Prices may change without notice.

The price applicable to an order is the price displayed when the order is placed, subject to correction of obvious pricing or system errors.

Online pricing, promotional pricing, and in-store pricing may occasionally differ.

You agree to provide valid and authorized payment information for all purchases.

4. Orders

Submitting an order does not automatically mean that we have accepted it.

We reserve the right to accept, decline, modify, or cancel an order for reasons including:

  • product availability;
  • pricing or inventory errors;
  • suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions;
  • incorrect customer information; or
  • circumstances that prevent us from reasonably completing the order.

We may contact you if additional information is required.

Once an order has been processed or prepared, we may not be able to accommodate a cancellation request.

5. Store Pickup and Delivery

Customers selecting store pickup are responsible for providing accurate contact information and collecting their order during our business hours.

Any estimated preparation, pickup, shipping, or delivery time is an estimate only and is not guaranteed unless we expressly state otherwise.

Where shipping is offered, we are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, labour disruptions, incorrect addresses, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for reviewing their order information before completing checkout.

6. Returns and Exchanges

Returns, exchanges, cancellations, and final-sale items are governed by our separate Return & Exchange Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service.

Please review the Return & Exchange Policy before making a purchase.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Ontario or Canadian consumer protection laws.

7. Racquet Stringing and Other Services

JJ Sport provides racquet stringing and related racquet sports services.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate instructions regarding their requested string, tension, stringing method, racquet specifications, and other service requirements.

We will make reasonable efforts to perform all services professionally and carefully.

However, racquets may have pre-existing damage, fatigue, cracks, weakened grommets, structural defects, previous repairs, manufacturing defects, or other conditions that are not visible before stringing.

Stringing a racquet places significant mechanical stress on the racquet frame.

By requesting stringing or other racquet services, you acknowledge that pre-existing or hidden defects may become apparent during the service process.

JJ Sport is not responsible for damage caused by a pre-existing defect, previous damage, improper prior repair, normal wear and tear, manufacturer defect, or a customer-requested specification that is outside the racquet manufacturer's recommended specifications, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

We reserve the right to refuse a requested tension, stringing method, repair, or service if we reasonably believe that completing the request could damage the racquet, equipment, stringing machine, or create an unsafe result.

Customers should inspect their racquet and completed service when collecting it and notify us promptly if there is a concern.

8. Customer-Supplied Products and Strings

Where a customer supplies their own string, racquet component, accessory, or other material for us to install or use, JJ Sport cannot guarantee the quality, authenticity, age, condition, or performance of that customer-supplied product.

We are not responsible for defects, premature breakage, poor performance, or failure caused by customer-supplied materials, except where the issue results directly from our service and responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

9. Manufacturer Warranties

Certain products may be covered by a manufacturer's warranty.

Manufacturer warranty eligibility, coverage, duration, exclusions, and approval are determined by the manufacturer or distributor.

JJ Sport may assist customers with a warranty claim where appropriate, but we do not control whether a manufacturer or distributor approves or rejects a claim.

Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, improper storage, impact damage, unauthorized modification, improper stringing by another party, or use outside the manufacturer's specifications may not be covered by a manufacturer's warranty.

Any additional warranty specifically provided by JJ Sport will be described separately.

10. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on our website accurate and current.

However, information may occasionally contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or typographical mistakes.

We reserve the right to correct information, update content, or make changes without prior notice.

Information provided on our website about racquets, strings, tensions, sporting equipment, performance characteristics, recommendations, or similar subjects is provided for general informational purposes.

Individual preferences and equipment performance may vary.

11. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of the JJ Sport website, including our name, logo, branding, original photographs, graphics, written content, design elements, and other original materials, belongs to JJ Sport or is used with permission.

You may use our website for personal and non-commercial purposes.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, sell, modify, republish, or commercially exploit our original website content without our prior permission, except where permitted by law.

Brand names, logos, product photographs, and trademarks belonging to manufacturers or other third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

Our online store is powered by Shopify.

Shopify provides the technology that allows us to operate our online store, but purchases from JJ Sport are transactions between you and JJ Sport.

Our website may also use third-party services for functions such as payment processing, shipping, analytics, social media, maps, or communications.

Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of those providers.

We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites that we do not control.
